You tend to think that Barn Owls are creatures of open fields and farmland, but yesterday (02/12/2022) we went to the National Grid site, Capenhurst to replace two dilapidated Barn Owl Nest Boxes.

This box was occupied by two adult birds who will hopefully be happy with their new home.

The hardest part of this necessary work is removing the old nest boxes and we are very grateful to the guys from National Grid for their assistance and the use of a cherry picker

Having safely removed the old box, which was unoccupied, we were able to install the new box and inspection camera.

It is getting increasingly harder, as a Registered Charity (No: 1093893) to raise income that will help us do all that we do.

Since the Covid epidemic, it has gotten a lot harder, but you can help.

John Scott’s funeral will take place at 12 noon, Thursday 1^st December, at Chester Crematorium, Blacon Avenue, Blacon, CH1 5BB. There is adequate free parking on site and funeral attire is informal.
